Want to start filming? VX1000 Starter Pack For Sale

Sup homies? I have lots of filming gear collecting dust that deserves a good home! Ideally I am looking to sell this as a complete bundle:

VX1000 (I am only the second owner, original owner is my best friend who purchased it new in 2000. It sat unused from 2007-2016 until I got it from his parents house. Last serviced by Kerry at Video Electronics in 2017, but needs another servicing. Has cosmetic wear but has never suffered any major hits and was never used to playback footage)

VX1000 (Japanese—VAP unit is taped on after I knocked it loose a few years back but it’s 100% functional. Exact same camera as a US VX, just in Japanese. These cameras are newer and more reliable than their US cousins)

VX2000 (last time I used it the audio was glitchy upon capturing, probably needs servicing. Great camera for low light filming and looks great with MK1—see the excellent Grains videos for reference.)

Century Optics MK1 aka deathlens in pristine condition (purchased new in 2016, front element was replaced in 2017 then barely used)
+ additional bayo so you can use it on VX2000

4 VX1000 batteries + charger
2 VX2000 batteries + charger
Neewer CN-160 LED light + filters
8 or 9 miniDV tapes

Capture camera + FireWire

Canon 200EG bag
OnePolar Flipside 300 bag
+ tons of extras (small screwdriver set, misc skate parts, shoe laces, razor blades, wax, etc....anything you’d ever need on a session)

The only things you’ll need to purchase outside of this lot are:
1) a headcleaner tape (one is included but it’s mostly used up)
2) a lens cleaning kit

Asking $1600 plus actual shipping which is a total steal.

god damn that is a fucking deal. I think when I first bought my vx i got it for like 350 and then 950 for the mk1.

I know it would be more convenient for you to sell the entire pack, but I'm interested in buying the MKI + one of the 2 VX1000 (maybe the Japanese one which seems to be usable without any servicing) + the batteries.

Also, I'm located in France.

I really wanted to sell all of this as a lot but it doesn't seem like that's going to work out at the moment.
I've received tons of PM's about individual items, pics, test footage, etc. so here's an update:
I am going to post this on here for a day or two and then whatever is left is going to eBay.

US VX1000 with MK1 (w/ both lens caps), Cannon bag + accessories (three batteries, charger, light, 4 tapes, etc.), and cap cam (w/ charger + firewire) = $1100
Has cosmetic wear but 100% functional. Insane deal.






Japanese VX1000 + one battery = $250
VAP is taped on but is 100% functional (MK1 is only pictured to show that VAP is sturdy but is not included).



VX2000 with MK1 bayo, bag + three batteries, charger, five tapes = $250
Mic cuts in and out but records perfectly (tbh if you're a real player this doesn't even matter because you should be dubbing vx1000 audio anyways, haha).
