I have been seeing it in the US a little bit. Usually kind of on the fringe, lots of "older" (30ish) rockers getting back into skating or whatever...which I think is a rising trend in and of itself.

any you guys ever play ice hockey? I say surfing is over, cross country skiing (classic not skate) will be next.

I hope so. I was surfing in Northern Oregon today and it was a goodman Seaside Superspreader event at Covid Cove. Nearly had a social anxiety attack.... after months of barely any contact with humans I was clustered with dozens of them in the cold Pacific today. Got a few slash-worthy lefts though...

Since pretty much every trick has been done by now and the actual skateboarding has become barely interesting, i foresee an anthropological turn in skatevids, with on spot street interviews, resulting in some pro having a full part in which he/she gets full corrective feedback after each trick, and does like a switch tre down a 15+ stair but then organizes a spontaneous qualitative focus group with random passerbys.
