A follow up to menikmati in between that and especial would have been amazing.

exactly what i was going to say

i might be wrong but i think in early 2004 the es team was the menikmati line up minus ronnie, PLUS:

pj ladd,
p-rod,
nuske,
peak justin eldridge
and javier sarmiento.

oh and mike taylor too. lol
[close]

Funny enough, a few years before Especial came out, there were ads for an Es video called Yes. I believe this was 2005 or something like that, just after Baker 3 and before the team blew up with Koston and Prod leaving and Supra starting up.

I can't find an ad, but I remember the video lineup included guys like Koston, Ladd, Penny, Antwuan, Nyjah, young Bobby Worrest, Rodrigo, McCrank, Javier and Eldridge.

I remember this. In the old es site they had a contest to submit possible names for the new es video and couple of people had submitted Yes and they ran with it. That didn't happen and eventually they ended up with especial.

A hubba wheels video would have been cool. They had a solid team

I wonder if any of the models went into porn or are IG models now...I'll have to look later, unless someone knows. Website is still up and has all their names: http://www.hubbawheels.com/meetthegirls/
I’ve mentioned it on here before but a girl I wasn’t to high school and was friends with was a Hubba “model”. She was really cool at the time, then wound up on the reality show “Bad Girls Club” where she got her ass beat

Also the second TSA video that they advertised in “Life In The Fast Lane” never came out
fuck you bama

Flip should have put out a video in 1995 or 1996 at the latest with the OG team.

i really wish baker/deathwish hadn’t decided to brand themselves as such different companies. baker 4 was a really really sick video but every time i watch it i think of how it could have been more like baker has a deathwish, or the baker deathwish tour video.

another fairly obvious answer is a huf or FA dylan part after cherry. throughout his entire career he was ran through the ringer when it came to shoe sponsors. then he was finally on a solid board company and a solid shoe company and got sick. the last clips he filmed are some of his best, it would have been great to see one more full part.

not that it would have been anything dear to the hearts of anyone on here, but if plan b had made a full length circa 2008 it would've been a big deal at the time at least

there's some pretty crazy stuff in the superfuture promo - p-rod switch hardflip manual heelflip out. and the sheckler fence to drop kflip was undeniable.

i'm a ryan gallant fan too. pj was getting stale but pj is pj regardless. always had a sneaky little soft spot for colin.

unfortunately, the only guy on that team i really loved was brian and he was blowing it at this point...

Hey, I'm still holding out hope Axl Rose gives us Chinese Democracy, until that happens, nothing else matters.

That came out in 2008...

Forrest welcome to Zero part. Still sad about that no tm was able to babysit that dude, drive him to spots and make him film some parts
i mostly blame the TM for not sending him a sufficient amount of bloards.

ah yes, a video that would introduce the riders with girls in bikinis with the riders name on a placcard and d-grade footage filmed on a gl2 to vx2000 submitted by 78 different filmers.

Honey island, I would be more than happy to see D - grade of Westgate, Gall and Zered. Snob.

what was the classic team? i only know the street cinema era...

it was funny that street cinema had "volume one" under the title of the box art, but it never had another volume after that.

ty letting MJ have a part in bag of suck
[close]

MJ filmed a full part that hasn't ever been released. The fact that there's another prime era MJ part just out there fucks me up in the head.
I was under the impression that it was a goof off part and not like prime mj footage.
They kinda mention it in maybe the recent Nestor Nine club episode.

as much as i would have liked to see trainwreck in the bootleg vid, i can’t wrap my head around what his skating would look like with j strickland’s editing. also, anthony mosley and tony montgomery parts in that video would have been sick too.

you know what's crazy? how quickly really sorry came out after sorry.
[close]

If my skate nerd accuracy is at 100%, and it might not be, I remember bskng pretty sure really sorry was partially leftovers. And that’s only based off of Appleyard back heeling and nollie back heeling that triple set on the same day

IIRC in the mags I had access to back then in Europe, Really Sorry was marketed at the bonus feature on the DVD edition of Sorry (which had come out just around the turn of the switch from VCR's to DVD players in people's homes). For a while I don't think it was supposed to be a video per se, till people started ripping it online and it became a cult classic. Flip was just crazy enough to put out another full-length video, back when people were still toying around with what was an acceptable DVD bonus feature. From then on I think they just rolled with the hype. I'm basing this on nearly twenty-year-old recollections of random articles, not facts.

Also, I wish Adrenalin and Metropolitan USA had a proper full-length.

Free Your Mind with The Gonz and KT parts
I don't recall when MJ and Donny Barley left Emerica but that would have been rad if they were in This Is Skateboarding
Yeah Right if Stevie never left
Same with baker 4 and TK
A full Shane Cross part in Extremely Sorry would have been nice
There is a full Shane Cross part. It's the opener.
