Also I guess I have to be the one saying it: I remember when this place used to tend to talk mad shit on the other skate forums at the time where people were (successful at) running stuff exactly like this. There was this stigma around filming flatground for strangers on the Internet that made you a kook in most PALS' minds. So part of me is surprised to see this actually kinda work out on here so far with no backlash. I think it's positive evolution, too - we'd do something similar over a message board I used to run around 2004 2009 ish and all that resulted was everybody eventually involved learned tricks and/or got better at them because of the emulation, and eventually started going on frequent trips around the country to actually meet and skate outside their comfort zone. Beats fucking crumbling down on an anonymous office chair lamenting life away via keyboarding.

You post on here, you're a PAL. PAL 'status' is indeed another world of specific mechanics one has to wear a certain type of boots to grasp, but here I don't think it matters whether both your post count and your kickflips are three feet tall floaters or awkward little barrel rolls.

They aren’t dying to know who I am, that’s silly. They don’t even know who I am, so how would they be crawling at the bit to know me. All I’ll say is I’m actually a really interesting person who knows an awful lot about skateboarding, and can skateboard at a high level. I can tell you I’m as far from a poser or look as you could imagine.

You’re going to want to have the gas pedal fully on the floor as you feather the clutch out.  That little picture on the knob should tell you where you want to be.  Usually “reverse” is labeled with a 1 or a 2.  Should work fine.
