found a dry parking garage, but the video was really dark so I had to bright it up a bit. new shoes always mean rocket heelflips for me. anyone has a tip to unrocket them?

I want to do a pop shove one maybe because I love how they feel, but they are a little boring. Maybe like a pop shove/360 flip. Something easy, something hard, something for everybody. I'll tell you right now I would not be able to post a 360 flip. Only one I have is from 3 years ago and that was like my first one in 10 years.

I think it look's cool, I was actually gonna try to mine the other night to get that look.

I'm not sure if it's the same for heelflips but I know the key for kickflips is to kick your front foot forward and out like a karate kick. It should be the same for heelflips because if your foot flys off the nose it will help push the nose down. If you kick down or to the side it's gonna go all over. When I heelflip I have to hang my heel off a lot and I aim the slide through the pocket on through the toe side of the nose. Not to Cheetah_Sheets anyone but my kickflips are usually really good. Yesterday was such a fucking hassle I swore of steep concave and setup an old flat deck this morning. But I read the "kick straight forward" tip in high school, forget who it was but they said kick forward and it honestly was game changing for me when I was younger. I can actually remember reading it in class then testing it and being blown away. Might not be a big secret but that is one of the best tips I ever got. I like mellow concave though so it's easier, when I do it with steep concave the nose sticks to my foot and slows the flip down. I think it would be less of a problem with a cupsole.

For heelflips it helps to keep your head level over your knees and try not to kick the board down. .just right off the concave side

When I first learned em when I was like ten my friend, who couldn't really even kickflip either, told me to do it like that, with my toes covering the lower left bolt slightly slanted, he said they were easier that way, and I eventually just got used to doing em like that. I wouldn't suggest that to anyone, looks funky as fuck but I can't do em any other way now. Wish I could do em like Reynolds with more of my foot on the board but when I do em like that they go rocket mode. My kickflips are like the anti-J.Wray hah.
