I’m gonna be there for a weekend in April. Gonna be mostly a family thing but will get a sesh or 2 in. What’s good? Where should I skate? Spots not parks please. Any good online source of DC spots or video I should watch to get ideas?

I’m staying around here

Idk

Foggy Bottom is near George Washington University that area is pretty popping at night from Thurs to Sun with college students and there is some good food near there. Just get yourself to Pulaski and from there if you go towards the CVS there are different kinds of spots everywhere! You keep skating down you'll see Archives which is a little plaza with a manny pad and some ledges and stairs. You keep skating there is the courthouse which 4(?) long steps that you can skate like a manual pad or a gap. Keep skating then there is the Japanese Memorial which has ledges on the outside and stuff on the inside that is more of a bust. It is downhill though, but long fun ledges. DC is fun. Freedom/Pulaski is such fun you may not leave.

If you continue past archives towards the Capitol building you’ll run into welfare banks. I was told it was a bust but we got to skate there for an hour never got the boot. One of my favorite things I’ve ever skated. I’m not from there so I’m not sure the exact streets it’s on.

Welfare is at the corner of 2nd and C SW. If you go on the weekend you have a decent chance of getting half an hour, sometimes more, sometimes less. Like others have said, just skate down Pennsylvania Ave from Pulaski and you’ll see a good chunk of DC’s best spots and end up a couple blocks from Welfare. The Japanese memorial idk mentioned is at Louisiana and D NW, a couple blocks north of the Capitol.

I’m honestly obsessed with sauces and had never heard of mambo sauce. Just looked it up and it sounds amazing!

While you are right I’ve seen it as both so I just kinda roll with either.
I think capital sauces sells it as mambo

Yeah actually just looked it up and apparently it’s both. I’ve only personally heard “mumbo”. Carry on.
