Switching trucks
« on: February 19, 2020, 07:57:41 AM »
I was thinking of switching trucks, I used to ride ventures but found the hanger always broke off at the pivot cup. Currently i ride indy hollows they seem heavy to me but I love the way they grind and turn. Was thinking of maybe going to thunders. I would describe my skating as very low impact, mostly ledges manuals, flat ground and the occasional flat bank. Let me know what u guys think.

It’s all basically the same shit.  We just make a big deal out of it to fill some void in our lives.
When nothing in society deserves respect, we should fashion for ourselves in solitude new silent loyalties.

follow your heart

Follow your jart...skateboards

Whichever truck is most comfortable to cruise around and turn and respond to you best, everything else will follow(the pop and flip response once you get use to it)

I fill that void with more trucks than I would ever need.

Don't come down this rabbit hole, remain blissfully ignorant to wheelbase, cast, forged, pop feel and woodshops.

Always find myself going back to regular solid team edition Thunders when I'm looking for a different truck. They, in my opinion, are real nice. Aesthetically pleasing while preforming well. They are my ole reliable.

in the last year i bought and tried every almost short-ish wheelbase truck brand, cause i wanted to make sure i wasn't riding indys out of marketing. i ended up back on indys.

"if it aint broke dont fix it" comes to mind. just try people's setups when you get the chance to get a feel for something different.

I just tried my venture 5,8 Bobby worrests today after skating indy's for 2 years with half that time being on bones hard bushings. Felt so strange, I felt like a noob. Was struggling, felt so weird, hopefully it gets better or I'll have to revert.
