Polar: We blew it at some point
« on: February 24, 2020, 09:51:36 AM »

I am positive there is already a thread for this video, and being new to SLAP don't know if this is lame. But I can't help myself. Hopefully you watch it again, or for the first time! This video is such a classic (I like it here inside my mind.. Of course is as well), and not many videos have inspired me to skate after watching as much as this one.  please feel free to post any video that makes you want to go out and get some! Or tell me I am an idiot for posting.

Definitely one of if not the best video of the last 10 years. So good and cleverly put together. It has a vibe I hadn’t felt in a video before.

Definitely one my favorite videos ever, that opening run from Emile Laurent gets me so stoked. Watching Nick Boserio charge things like a demon is sick too...the soundtrack is on point.

Without a doubt my favourite video since the childhood classics I grew up on. Something about the overall vibe and editing really made me pumped and want to go skate.

This video introduced me to video concepts such as putting the titles halfway through people’s parts and repeating tricks and second angles minutes later instead of right after the first angle (especially Oski’s noseblunt).

The soundtrack was banging and Emile and Nick killed it. Danes closer is what seals the deal for me but usually I always end up leaving the house after the first 12 minutes to go skate.

Again.. that noseblunt..

What is this "it" they said they blew?

I believe that it’s referring to what Adam said to Eve right after they got booted out of that garden.

It’s not old enough to be a classic, but is definitely refreshing. For sure gets me pumped up, and it’s my go to if A homie asks for a good watch. The team is stacked and it involves all types of skateboarding.
Top video of 2019 . Up there with the sour video.

That fade-in of music during the Nick Boserio credits line is one of the most beautiful sequences of skateboarding ever recorded in the history of skate videos. I watch this every month or so ever since it was released. Absolutely timeless skateboarding.

Most skate media washes over me these days, but I go back to this all the time. Boserio makes it for me. In isolation, I wouldn't touch most of the music, but I've sought the playlist on spotify.

Dane Brady’s part is currently my most watched part. I actually enjoy it more than his ‘I like it inside my mind’ part. Every clip I am looking to see what is under his feet.

One of my favorite tricks in the entire video is a guest clip in Danes part. It’s a curb cut blast to lipslide on a big pole jam over a grass gap by Nick Rios. He fucking bounces off that shit so beautifully.
Had the pleasure of skating with those 2 for a bit last week. Always a treat. Dane rules because you won’t see anything from him, but he’s fully ripping and not giving a shit.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dane's part is so wicked. The switch tre flip / switch wallie line with the massive orange wheels always gets me psyched

The song is soo good, and a tip of the hat to H-Street I believe

I tend to watch I Like It Here Inside My Mind more, but We Blew It is everything everyone's already said about it.

We Blew It and Kitsch are my go-to full lengths these days.

This whole video is fucking perfect. I probably watch in its entirety once a month and will watch Dane, Nick, and Emile at least once a week. Shit gets me too fired up.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.
