They really do use quasi shape. If you've ridden the proto you've ridden the GX logo board and some go more by the Jake Johnson shapes too which I love. And yes slightly tapered.

This makes sense because I just ordered the GX 8.125” off their website and the PayPal payment went to mother collective / quasi and is being shipped by Quasi as well .
