Is the little guy that does all those crook-noseslide-crook tricks in this?

I find it discomforting to see you hate on my mans socks while he is skating with freaking airpods all the way through.

Lucas Marques is probably my favourite skater in the Brazilian scene right now. He’s so damn casual, doesn’t look like he’s even trying.
Even the tricks he missed you can see he had them.

Loved everything about that! they seemed like a perfect match for a game. They had different strengths, but seemed very equal - I really had no idea who would win before the game ended :)

He skates so fast and powerful!

I had only seen Fortunado skate before and enjoyed his shit for sure, but Lucas is incredible. His upper body is so quiet, he just doesn’t have extra movements. I didn’t see Lucas ig. Both skated beyond good, using the whole ledge, lots of tricks, Lucas was a revelation tho, beyond rad

He was the winner of the first edition of S&G, only one to beat Caue in all the 3 editions.

First time I got aware of him (his part starts at 8:00):

And his last part is beyond amazing:

Damn. Thanks for putting me on! I’ve watched (here and there) other s&g’s so I’ve now just clearly done the gross thing where I’ve not being able to remember/see someone because they aren’t from my immediate part of the world (not from the USA and approved parts of Europe) Great.

He’s got some JB to his shit. Does hard stuff, doesn’t look too hard, for him. Very tasteful. Thanks again

Reminded me of Ribiero last year. I'm not even that relaxed while getting a 90 minute masaage.

Kind of a shitty game. Is that the same Filipe Ortiz that had a unibrow and was on Bilnd some years back? Seems like a total kook

Vargas has great style for a freakishly tall or skinny guy

Isn't it weird that he didn't have to do the nosegrind in the middle? That's like two different tricks imo, at least the pop out is objectively harder.

same with fs crooked grinds, someone does a pinched fs crook and the next guy presses down a nosegrind and gets a pass..

what about  a crooked nosegrind? The nose is completely pressed down and the board is tweaked to the side, just not that inside wheel pinch. Thats how i do em unfortunately.

I remember in this old trick tip video “The Tao of Skateboarding” they cover fs crooks and Bryan Herman and a few other pros are demonstrating proper ones and then Matt Allen rolls up and does the press down nose grind ones. It’s hilarious

I'd like to defend Ortiz but he does get weirder every time he appears somewhere.

is filipe becoming a woman?

and tbh... even though he lost and seemd like a wack attitude, he seemd really ...good

the way he did his tricks were that of one of someone with clear talent i dn how to explain it

and that frontside nosegrind shouldve been a letter. a fs nosegrind popout mid ledge vs what the second guy did are completely different tricks.. which is why he didnt DO the early pop etc bc he COULDNT. simple. lame.
