I think a lot of people film VX for the novelty. They think it's a "cool" camera but they don't bother to learn any of the settings to make it presentable. It also makes me sad because good VX footy is probably my favorite skateboarding format.

I truly don't understand the resurgence of big baggy denim shorts. If you aren't Tiago (or maybe Ishod) it comes across as some sort of ironic-but-maybe-not-ironic move and it's just lost on me. Out of curiosity, what do you think of guys who base so much of their skating on how good they are at doing things switch (PRod comes to mind for this)? It's impossible to quantify how hard switch is compared to regular (since it's different for everyone), so the added difficulty is subjective.

There's definitely a place for it, and I disagree that people's switch styles don't look better, but it kind of takes away if it's overdone.
