Usually, people with great yet short careers in any medium wind up with GOAT mentions since there's less material to scrutinize.
Also, it's not a bad thing, but men's and women's skating is damn near two separate entities.  Kind of like the NBA/WNBA.  It's basically the same thing, just at a slower pace and slightly less technical.  It would be easier if everyone viewed it as such.
