people are hyper focused on pants now because almost everyone is wearing vans, adidas or nikes. If there was less homogenization in shoes everyone would go back to caring about shoes rather than pants.

Yeah i had. He's good, i get the appeal. But even knowing this, i just think he's overrated.

I guess it might come down to how old you were when it came out. I could see if you started skating after that came out that it wouldn't seem as ahead of the game as it was, but he blew the doors off all of skateboarding when that dropped. I'm having a hard time thinking of any part since that pushed skateboarding ahead as much as that (Vov & Dway mega ramp lunacy aside). There has definitely not been a part in a shop video by a relatively unknown am that has had that much influence since, and maybe ever.
