Every single pair of spitfires i've ever owned in 11 years skating has gotten irreversible flatspots. I'm 6' 2 and 200 lbs, would weight even matter? I've never had a pair of bones get a flatspot that wouldn't go away.

Cause they are crap expensive wheels which turn yellow very quick, l rather buy 10 pounds shop wheels cause lasting longer and they keep themself white

Wow,you are very passionate about wheel colors!

I have also had bad experiences with spitfire flatspotting. The only wheels I have skated that haven‘t flat spotted pretty much right away have been bones Stf and type s.

Unfortunately, type s wheels went out of Business years ago so I have stuck to bones stfs. I have only flatspotted those once, when I hit a rock going fast in a bowl.

Seems like someone's been buying $10 fake SPs from ebay for the past 11years.

Please buy from a authorized dealer.

Yours sincerely SLAP xx

I still want to know what you were doing to get flatspots.  Same things or different every time?

As in you hit a rock or something and the wheel stopped so dragged along the ramp or smooth skatepark surface (which has happened a lot with every brand of wheel I know on all the new smooth skateparks in recent years) or was it more so doing something like a backside flip up a euro and landed 90 and slid out on it (which is also a good way to put flatspots in any brand of wheel) or just something landed wrong?

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Stop trying to convince people who swore off spitfires to jump back on. We don't want another shortage of f4's.
