It's been too long since I listened to DJ Krush.

Not the biggest fan of AC/DC, but if I'm in the right mood I'll play this all day

You guys have good taste

I personally have a soft spot for political diatribes disguised as pleasant indie pop

I write reviews for music blogspots sometimes and other shit abut favorite bands and for me Slayer has had it's hooks in me since 85' and yes I still get down here and there with them.

I assume most of you all that were into them you guy's went with the 1st 5 albums with Dave Lombardo as drums was the pinnacle of their thrashy sound Seasons in the Abyss being their last decent album before they tried their hand at "groove metal" or  "nu-metal" as some dorks call it.

Well enough of my blithering on and sounding like an arrogant music snob

I tried to listen to their 2009 World Painted Blood sorry I didn't leave a link as it was that boring...

I gave this album a few times to really sink in as an attempt to hear anything of notewothy? NOPE... shit was at best trying to catch lightning in bottle twice (or in this case fifth attempt albeit the first five albums with original lineup) but sadly falling very flat just a snooze fest.

Yes they possibly heard their greatest sound was before the turn of the millennium and they got the original lineup together again for a solid 11 songs!  As with anything after the smoke clears this album sounds like a Slayer version of Metallica's Death Magnetic all hype no strength just boring.

My soundtrack for making another curb tonight. I didn't even know DJ Krush did this collab with the boredoms until today.

This is great if you like garage. A mix of surf and blues influence and way too much reverb. My favorite song is Shakedown (4:00 mark). Kinda has a Wild Thing vibe, but bangs pretty hard. Dig in.

Been playing some early Beefheart too.

warning, this is a superbassy parody of a trap song

i just discovered this guy and he's hilarious. if you understand german and are into obscure borderline comedy rap check him out. he's legit good at skating, too and references it or graffiti in almost every track.

almost makes me think he's some german ex-pro/am whose name is slipping me. actually the other dude in the video with the indy hoodie looks kind of familiar as well.

This goes so hard. Probably my favorite Dead Meadow album. The guitar and drums on this sound so raw and powerful.
