I saw them in Chicago, the best part of the show, with a drunk Freddie Gibbs who fucked his own lyrics up and didn't even introduce this band or shout them out. Freddie Gibbs you're fuckin up!

Been ripping this album in the car again and the title track is evermore speaking the truth, It's like the P2025 mandate in a song. Insane this came out during Regan and it literally applies tick-for-tack to today.

The whole thing is frighteningly topical, but some of the lyrics that stick out to me rn -

"The ultimate in vanity

Dude I've been listening to Sematary and Ghost Mountain since 2020 and this come back is absolutely insane to me. This new album is so different from anything else they've done and it's some of the most exciting music I've heard in awhile.

The video really is great. I definitely think GM nails the vintage horror aesthetic in a more subtle way than the other members of Haunted Mound.

As for the album he might just be white boy of the year already and Sematary’s production on this was nutso.
