I saw these guys play in Jacksonville back in 2001 or 2002. Had never heard them before, but they brought me to tears. Blame that on the beer and the energy of the crowd :'(

That was really nice, I liked it. Is that ambient? Reminds me of Tim Hecker, but it's definitely distinct from something he would do.

I mean I would personally classify it as ambient, but some people are more sticklers about what truly counts as the genre.

Yeah I could see getting some Tim Hecker vibes from it. I've always thought Leyland Kirby/The Caretaker had some similarities to William Basinski too, in terms of their methods/techniques and the kind of music they produce.
