lol this might also line up with a "should i feel guilty about this?" thread. saw earlier online that people are now trying to "cancel" eminem for all his older songs/lyrics. decided to put on his first 2 CDs. been such an enjoyable hour.

i was in like 6-7th grade when this shit came out (34 now) and its nostalgic but also absolutely insane the shit he is saying and the fact that he was mainstream just 10-15 years ago. politician level of "getting away with anything" haha.

Been on a HEAVY Ferraro kick again lately, and recently realized that the dude (time and time again) tapped into some of the deepest levels of improvisation that any single person is capable of.

Took an LSD/mushroom combo last night and hit a mental state free of proper vision/physicality while listening to this two-hour monstrosity. My brain seemed to interpret the final half-hour as a tangible, ever-shifting object. Kind of a pulsating diorama of seashells and turquoise cascades. Total new age hippie bullshit if I hadn't experienced it firsthand.
