Still in Singapore, stuck in lockdown like the rest of us. Spoke to him briefly before the lockdown, said he may consider settling down in Singapore since he has a wife and kid.

Yeah he said something about this being a better place to raise a kid than in Myanmar. I've been there too and it's definitely hectic. Cool place though.

Let's skate together after this whole shit. I'm tired of the depressing weather and not even being able to skate Citylink. I actually miss just having simple flatground sessions now.

Kenny is one of the best styles to grace a board. That goes without saying. What needs to be said an elegy to the style pro. Remember those? Nate Jones, Kenny Reed, Tony Cox, basically that part of the Ipath team. Dude's like that don't exist now. Maybe Christian Maalouf.

Loved the Cats & Grasshoppers. Especially the Cats.

I liked the Kenny shoe, also had a few pairs of 1985’s after Mosaic came out because of Danny Renaud

The Matt Field shoe wasn’t bad either, but the Cats and Grasshoppers were definitely the shoes to have. I’d skate a pair of Cats today if I could, I wish someone would make a knock off version of them...

They were unbelievably stiff and didn’t skate very well... and this is coming from someone who likes stiffer soles.

These were so good, I bought a few pairs of Travelers at ORPHAN on Willy St.

Those were good times when orphan was around. I actually skated a spray painted orphan deck last year. When they brought in ipath, I was so hyped. I’ve got a couple pairs still from back then

Man I think had those ipaths in brown. I had a few pairs of ipaths and they were so good but the issue I had was that the soles would always wear out before th leather uppers which was an unusual issue to have compared to most other skate shoes at the time
