OJ skateboard rails
« on: May 11, 2020, 09:26:06 PM »
Anyone try these Juice Bar rails by OJ? I’ve seen them on some setups here but always brand new.
I’ve only used Pig in the past and had no issues.
Oj’s don’t slide that well
They wear out fast
Screws are too small and strip out of board leaving you with that terrible sound. Had to glue them down and find new screws. Pretty disappointed.

while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

I’ve got some on my latest set up (brown bomber in the latest cruiser page thread.

I’ve not had chance to slide them on concrete yet but they are fast on wood/ metal. They’re a lot taller than the pig rails and the screws seem beefier. More similar size to the streetplant ones

Was quite hard getting them screwed down flushed to the deck.

The plastic feels hard, Kind of like the pig rails do and not that slight softness that Powell rib bones have.

They’re ok so far but if I’m honest I should just buy rib bones each time as nothing else I’ve tried is any better.
