Well, I'm glad if it's over, company was a proof that you can be an ex-elite pro skater and still not know a single shit about how a company works.

Terrible advertisement, terrible concept, terrible graphic and overall design (their logo was a fucking screenshot) but a great skateboard team.

That's why April is not going to work too, P Rod did it with Primitive and it's hard to fall in line with them.
The '80s were the worst period. You had these horrible pop bands growing their hair and calling themselves metal.

Agreed. Just take the check and ride it out as long as you can. Shane should have just stayed on primitive. Koston on skate mental makes the most sense or he’ll give him a board on Tired if that’s still a thing? Give tired a revamp with a couple of pros at the ends of their career just messing around doing slappys and shit.

Koston is still the Law in my book.

He's the true genesis of next level tech gnar.

His exodus from Numbers would be like "Duder, oh no, me oh my don't leave it cuz you're the best!"

Sorry if I tor ah hole in this thread.

Best fit scenarios if numbers goes under:
Koston: SkateMental or WKND
Guy:Real or Krooked
Durao:Quasi
Davis: Isle
Magnus: Primitive
TX: April chocolate
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Baby is gonna be raised by Max and Cyrus

Koston was a legend, but if hes not willing or able to huck to a filmworthy level anymore just retire. Heath had the right idea. You can still run a company with a guest trick here and there without considering urself pro.

I wish more skate companies would refrain from marketing themselves.

Anything to lessen the never-ending deluge of slap content based solely off adult’s imagined personal relationships with brands.

I don’t understand how this company still exists.

Normally it might be worth it for someone to spend their own income from Nike to keep their shitty brand afloat if they have ideas or creativity they want to share with the world through their brand. This is not the case with Numbers as they zero ideas for their company and don’t seem interested in having much of a direction or image.

If you’re spending your own money to keep it going but then doing nothing with it, what’s the point? The team is sick but they can all go somewhere cooler. Your company doesn’t need to exist.

Speaking of numbers, is there a way to make the page numbers bigger so that they are easier to click on?

I feel like Numbers as a company lacked some personality and didn't really have a cohesive theme.

I like most of their riders and was planning to try one of their boards next but that was mostly because I was expecting them to go on sale.

I have no clue where Eric would go.
But. Guy would be going to FA. Yes? No?

One day will there be a mini Doc series about Eric on Netflix?
I hope so.

Son finally the rumoured Krooked Legends division is true?

Ray Barbee is supposedly going there too...

I love hearing what random ass companies everyone on here assumes people will go too.

I actually don't hate numbers. Their team is sick. They've made some really sick edits. I watch Kyron and Magnus parts' pretty frequently. The boards are BBS and the graphics aren't really that bad. The interview they did for thrasher right when the brand came out was pretty awful, but I still don't hate it. I still think Guy and Koston have produced some good skating with parts I go back and watch pretty frequently. I also like the lack of effort the brand really seems to put in making everyone know they exist.

Either way, I'm pretty sure they don't sell their boards at any mall shops like zumiez and they don't have some subscription service where they sell boards at a price that skateshops cannot compete with like Primitive does. So I'm cool with numbers.

I would love to see a Krooked Legends division with Guy and Eric.  Definitely should have Carroll, and Rick Howard would be there also.  Sheffey of course should be on it, and Jovantae too.  Rudy Johnson is a no brainer.  Maybe have Tim Gavin for fun, and a couple random picks like Tony Ferguson and Jeron Wilson.  Spike Jonze could help with art direction.

Anotonio Durao could be one of the biggest names in skateboarding right now, Numbers have done a pretty criminal job of marketing their team. Miles Silvas seems to get about way more since he left. Durao should join April, they've got potential to be a really good company
