Are bushings still good when I put them threw the washer?

So i have a backpack that I use when I go out on skate trips, I usually wash the bag every other week and have forgotten the bushings in my bag, laughing.
Does the water and soap ruin them?

People used to boil urethane to make it softer. It probably makes no difference.
