I was a Transworld Skateboarding subscriber from 2006 until the end of their run. Proud of my collection but it's come time to spread the stoke. Starting with a post here to help get some advice on the best way of selling the collection. Would it be better to sell them as set magazines making up one year or individual magazines? My current goal is to sell my skateboard magazine the collection to help raise funds for my local DIY skatepark. Open to advice and suggestions!

If you sell them individually I want to buy the last one.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

That's enough negativity, Ed!

I don't really know anything about the collectibles market, but I would think the most recent 13 years of Transworld mags might be hard to sell all at once.  They only shuttered a little over a year ago, so a lot of those issues still exist in people's homes and are relatively easy to find.  You might try selling the older ones (say 10 years +) one-by-one on eBay or something.  I'm sure the whole shebang will be worth something one day, but you'd have to wait a long time.  Anyway, very noble cause, good luck.

Sorry, you're right.

Good luck, KindaBoard. I too like your cause.

I don't have any input regarding the mags, but your local park looks awesome. Is there any way to donate towards that project?

Thank you all for the input, this helped to confirmed my idea of selling the issues individually on eBay. Got a bunch of covers signed when I was a little kid at demos so interested to see how the online skate community will react to those.

@mynameisnotjeff will send you a link to the eBay when I list the Lance cover/final issue.

@Ed you make a legitimate point that TWS started to go down hill after 2006, you can literally see the magazine shrink year by year but little kid me didn't have the skate knowledge I have now to know any better.

@George great point about stuff not being that old but do appreciate the suggestion of individual listings.

And @smackenzie stoked you like the zone, follow the Instagram for now and I'll keep you posted on how to donate when we have an upcoming fundraiser. Working to set up a donation page versus just sharing my Venmo.

I feel this part should have not been omitted in you original post.

sick what your doing with the money! Not sure how shipping would be...
best of luck
Ship magazines usps and tell the clerk it’s media mail. Media mail ships much cheaper. It’s for books magazines and videos/dvds and maybe other things

I just didn't want to confuse others into thinking I had majority of covers signed or "good" signatures when it's only a small selection.
