if Ricky Oyola puts you on the same team as him and Matt Reason, you know you’ve got game👊🏼

Not overall but best I've seen in person would be Aaron Rowe, would occasionally rock up to my local and just destroy it. Last I heard he was right into his golf though.

Dustin Dollin is by far and a long way the most influential Australian skateboarder.\

Stoked to see all the love for Cuzza, Davo and Ben Cox. Especially Ben, he's a few years older than me and when he would turn up to South Newcastle beach skatepark we would whisper to each other"Ben Cox is here" and sit down and just watch him haha, so lame.
Best ever is too hard to say, my favourite Australian new kid is definitely Rowan Davis though. That kids got that 97  Knights shit.
On reflection my post seems routed mostly in homesickness. I haven't been back in 4 years, I should be there now but Corona fucked it up. Could be years before I get another chance.

Haha, fuck I remember seeing Joey and the boys out in town in the early 2000's. The sloppiest, piss head drug pigs you've ever seen being treated like god's among mere mortals.

I'ma go with Skunk. Have never seen someone consistently rip as hard as he did every time I saw them skate- on anything - from street to vert.

LOL I have no fucking clue why I thought that all these years. Who cares; he’s my favorite theoretical Aussie skater.

He’s from Fresno.

He did live in Aus for a very long time, I think his wife is from like Geelong or something.

His backside ollie over the hip at Pizzey is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Once I was alone I just laid on the futon listening to Leonard Cohen and thinking about the other girl I liked and missed.

lucky you! I saw him a handful of times in person and he always looked like he could literally do any trick he tried, he was that comfortable on his board! Him and Wade are neck and neck for 1st place for me.

Skunk in his prime was on another level in terms of being a ATV, maybe a little bit too early to get the shine he really deserved.

Nuske or nothing.
took a while for him to show up in this thread but yes, he defs had skills to pay the bills

Dang, isn’t Alan Peterson from AUS?
he's not, but he sure did tour there a lot during the early to mid 90s

***

Might have to chuck Ben Harris and Greg Stewart into the (VIC) legends division too since they are both still ripping

When he lived (don't know if he still does) in Aus, he'd come to our house boozed up and kick arse at ping pong
