it's too bad. The skating in this was really good, but this weird campaign sets the precedent where I just thought about Menikmati the whole time. It's not fair of me to compare this guy's clips to one of the most monumental skate videos of the early 2000's chock full of legends, but it's all I could do the whole time watching this.

Looks like it was filmed in just a handful of sessions, which is super impressive as well. Say what you want about blind, or even the reference of such an iconic video, but the skating was amazing. Got me hyped to skate!

The problem is that they're doing a really shitty job at being a heritage brand. They're bastardizing the "old" to negate any nostalgia and they're cheapening the "new" so that it doesn't stand on its own. Imagine if Blind did a Video Days tribute with Carlos Ruiz or something. To me this campaign feels no different than the late stage of Zoo York when it was bought out by a bunch of corporate yahoos who had nothing to do with what made the brand cool in the first place.
