Set-up for a 10 year old?

My friend's daughter is a little interested in skateboarding. I gave her a used complete 7.75 with 52mm wheels. She wants something a little smoother. Any of y'all have suggestions on deck size and wheels? She has a penny board that she thinks is smooth...I'm thinking of just taking her to a shop to get her a deck that she likes but also want her to have a smooth ride so basically how big and soft of wheels should i get for a popsicle?

Just buy some softer wheels.

Just put the penny wheels on current board, with maybe risers.
Or just whip the penny board. Just cruising is the way to get hyped.

Cheapest and easiest fix, especially if shes just cruising around. 54-56mm, maybe 97a (don't ask me I've only ever ridden 83b or 99a).
