What a great time for a white dude to use a gangster rap song with the most prolific n-word use possible.

Props to Santa Cruz. They could get away with living off nostalgia and collabs but instead they sponsor a bunch of people and send them all over the world. I don't know if I get Jesse Noonan... but I liked the other two guys and am very excited for a new Eman part in the next volume.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

Henry Gartlands part was fucking buck, loved the song and the skating was insane. The montages were sick and I really want to see vol 5 with the Eman and Jereme Knibbs' parts. Not really into the Jesse Noonan dude, he rips but his attitude and song ruined it for him, it seemed like he was going to jack off right after the last trick. Justin Sommer is insane but the song was kinda whatevs, the last hardflip was fucking nuts.

The spot in the Argentina montage is so fucking dope! It used to be really rough before and you could only use the bigest bank,it can be seen in a lot of videos. They now re did it a couple of years ago and is pretty much a skatepark nowadays, you can pretty much skate anytime hassle free and the place is fun as fuck so it's a staple in BA. (insert shameless plug) Here's part of a montage I did too at the same spot (timestamp included)

That's what you took away from the video? Maybe you should post a cancel Santa Cruz thread ;)

Vid was sick. Team goes hard. Gartland is on some top level shit.

I thought the same thing, even though I didnt want to. Had the internal argument in my head on whether or not white skaters should be able to use hip hop songs that have gratuitous n bombs thrown in... I'm honestly indifferent about it. The n-word in music doesn't bother me, but it being used SO MUCH in a skate edit does, no matter the skin color of the skater. It's just hard to listen to.

Cant wait for a full Knibbs part.

I’m not necessarily a big fan of Justin Sommer’s style  but there’s no question that he’s the most promising German skater in a while. Definitely some willow influence with the trick selection but he’s also got the lege moves.

Gartland is insane.

I can't be the only one who thought it was an awkward fit when the camera's panning up to a blonde European kid in a Santa Cruz video and the song is just rifling off n-words left and right. It was too hard-body for him.
It's a really good part. I just thought it was an ill-fitting song to kinda make your debut with.

Not sure about Henry's Nick Rivers soundtrack, but that was a cool video overall.

That last rap song was too good to use on a part like that.

Justin Sommer is the truth.

I love how well rounded he literally is. there haven't been many parts with that much fake tricks lately , as far as I can remember.

don't hate on the song music too much. germans are mostly too stupid to understand the lyrics of what is sung/rapped anyway and are just listening to the beat and rhythm of it. and in that sense, the song goes.

I'm confused seeing all this Justin Sommer love.

He's the clichè for german trappers living in BCN, fake steeze and shitty trick selection. I wonder if he's just Blake's plug.

Not feeling the guy nor thee skating, sorry.

Henry Gartland on the other hand went from purple lizard to all around buck!!!
The '80s were the worst period. You had these horrible pop bands growing their hair and calling themselves metal.

Last dude was insane, and aggressive rap + objectively good skating are a match made in heaven.

Can’t wait for eman in volume 5

Henry Gartland skating to Orville Peck was a pleasant surprise. The rest was forgettable.

Really looking forward to Eman and Maurio part in the next one. This one felt like those movies that end with you knowing that there will be a sequel.

Justin was sick but dude looks huge. His board looked like it was a tech deck.

Another winner from Joe Perrin.

I can't really hate on the Santa Cruz brand since Wheels of Fire was one of my first videos I watched.

They're sort of the Garbage Pail Kids of skateboard brands. That's not a bad thing from a marketing stand point. Not everybody likes those things, but a lot of kids love that shit.

Also, I never had anything bad to say about their actual product. Every deck or wheel lasted longer than I wanted them to to be honest.

Justin Sommer was the same guy doing yo-variable flips like a year ago right?
