But JB has steadily stayed relevant within skating in between Cliche going under and getting on Primitive. Less the case with Bastien and Devine, and not really the case with Tave.

yeah JB is on some nike sb euro division too - they were ads for him for the ben g x dunk collab and as you pointed out he's had a steady career from deca to cliche and now primitive where as bastien and divine fizzled out and got a chance to have a board on primitive.

Is he?   Andrew Allen was def hometown hero during my time and to a much much lesser extreme Kelly Hart (can’t be a hero when everyone makes fun of you).   Maybe it’s a school district thing
