Emotional abuse can and often is far more damaging than physical abuse. This brave woman makes that point herself, but I figure anyone who would defend him at this point probably won’t bother to read her articulate letter.

Seems he’s an asshole at least in this context no doubt. Not to downplay it all at but this is at least somewhat common in lots of relationships where one person has big insecurities and anger issues. Respect to her for going public, but not sure it’s the right thing to do tbh...

Yeah, there's no foul-play here calling out Kenny after he had posted that caption, I want to know how he will respond. I do believe he was abusing her and it's a huge shame, Kenny was one of my favorite skateboarders and one of the people I looked up to most, not anymore I guess (unless his side of the story reveals otherwise).

I do think emotional abuse should be talked about and acknowledged more, because honestly, this is one area of abuse where I think women get away with it a lot more and are better at it.

Damn heavy indeed. I've never met KA but he definitely puts out the image that he'd be a nice guy. Shows that people can be deceiving as what she details is pretty intense and not the behaviour of a good or chill guy.

On a more positive note, all the food she is cooking looks amazing

Definitely did not want to have to read this on a Saturday evening. Nothing constructive to add here; really didn't want KA to be Kenny Anderson and it sucks that it is. The guys we grew up idolizing are just as flawed human beings as we are, never forget that and don't put them on a pedestal.
