Real weird one for me personally and I'd never be that bothered seeing it in person but when people do two 180s in a row that don't match. Worst be front 180 and then halfcab back.
Like front 180 then front halfcab work as a regs then fakie thing, front 180 then switch front 180 as a mirror, front 180 then switch back 180 as a full circle. But every 180 has one it doesn't quite flow well with.

i'd tend to agree but i'd also say it's very spot/situation specific. if it's a line involving stairs ledges etc i enjoy seeing all the rotations following eachother/symmetry, but then on i guess shorter spots or something quick it's really cool to see the opposites though the only example that pops to mind atm is at 1:48 here

front 180 over the fence straight into a bs half cab

Games of skate on the flat in the lines of the park. There’s a parking lot yo.

I’m a stickler for exactly my push. I feel like most pushes are flawed because people don’t think about it enough.
Tons of my favorite skaters put both hands on their knee when they pushing on film. I personally would never allow that no matter how tired I am.

I try to push like a figure skater kinda but in reverse. High kicks long long strides. I think about in a Schizophrenic manner sometimes. Like some Russell Crow Beautiful Mind obsessed thoughts through a delay peddle.

It’s weird but whatever makes me feel good about skateboarding

I dunno if this is too specific or not, but every now and then at the park I run into people who talk like video game NPCs trying to give you a mission or something. Like I'll walk in and instead of just saying hello they'll always like "YO, YOU HERE TO GET CLIPS?!" or "WHAT'S THE TRICK/LINE?!"

it's very annoying lol

LMAO best one yet

The 30-40 year old who just goes to the Skatepark to smoke teenagers up, or bum weed of them.  Same person who will not shut and try to get you into listening to an hour of their problems.  Started wearing earplugs just because of that

Those people are the worst. Main reason I don't go that one park near me. I can't skate with earplugs, I just skate away or pretend to get an important phone call.

Mob heelflips. Obviously there's a sliding scale of good to bad for every trick but bad heelflips are particularly bad. Its kinda counter intuitive but if your front leg doesn't bend back so you're knee is bent then you're blowing it.

Honestly over people fighting/arguing with security guards. Just roll around the block for a minute so spots got a better chance of not getting knobbed

Got no problem with one footers coming back but there's been a few in clips lately that were well below par. If you tried to do a grab and only barely touched the board with your fingertips you'd be like not good enough I better do it again. Same should apply if your foot barely gets an inch off the board and leg doesn't tweak at all on your Ollie one foot.

I get very upset when one of my imaginary friends gets a trick before me at the curbs. Second worst is a car creeping up and watching you skate the parking lot.

When people fix a spot but make it kinda shitty looking. It wouldn't take too much extra effort to make it look like that's how the spots actually meant to be. I've seen a ton, latest in Gabriel summers part where they cut the bottom kink off a handrail but why not cut it so it looks like that's how the handrail always was instead of a jagged two inch bit sticking out.

Haaaaa get fuckeddd (jk)

It's not too much of a pet peeve, more like a blow to the ego but seeing teens who are way better than you at the local.
Feeling sore even after taking a week off skating compared to being 10-20 and being able to recover after like 2 days.

Not landing shit

Watching kids who started skating transition with knee pads learning to bail incorrectly when they finally try to ollie and boardslide. They keep knee sliding when hopping off the board or running out the bail is a more sensible option.

When people lie about women's skateboarding. It is perfectly good enough if you just tell the truth, there's no need to make shit up. Alex white commentated so many comps where she just lies. Leo baker did a nosemanual one time and she goes most men couldn't even do that! Of course they could but it's irrelevant. Same thing just the other day about funa attempting a heelflip lip on a bump to flatbar.  Just the other day someone said Alexis sablone kickflip 5050 a chest high hubba at the Olympics. (In reference to being better than the men) a)There was no chest high hubba at the olympics b) the men did way harder shit than a flip 5050 on the hubba that was there. Doesn't mean Alexis doesn't fucking rule, you just don't have to invent shit.

Lying about their accomplishments sets them further back than just letting their skills do the talking.

Same thing happened with MMA and Ronda Rousey when she was on an incredible streak and finishing fights in the duration of a gif. Pundits were saying she could be competitive in the men's division (https://www.complex.com/sports/2015/03/ronda-rousey-male-ufc-fights-i-could-beat-100-percent-of-them) and said she could be competitive against Floyd Mayweather (arguably the best boxer in his generation).

These women are great, but don't fabricate their accomplishments or make them out to be larger than life.

I don’t like when people ask to try my board then complain about how I set it up.

Clearly I know and you don’t.

I like 3 shuv outs. SUE ME.

I’ve always argued that 90% of “blunt slides” on rails are just an ollie over into tail slide. I guess technically I can do “backside blunts” on a flat bar but I’m 100% just doing a frontside tail slide and I’d feel like a kook if I went around telling people I can bluntslide.

Well just rename it like the overcook. Ollie over to tailslide= overtail slide

Yeah it would only be a bluntslide if you land on the same side you ollied from just like how you do the trick on a ledge.
