Actually underrated: Maggie because she is funny without lines.

Favorite Springfield rando: Fat Tony, the plot or gag usually has to get kinda weird for him to be used.

Favorite one-off: Tie between Poochie and Hank Scorpio.

Favorite celebrity guest: Micheal Jackson

Because no one will listen! Haha

“Maggie talk! Maggie talk! ... No one listen? Maggie never talk again.”

This is my all-time favorite thread on SLAP. I want to respond back with continuations of quotes to every post.

The Dredrick Tatum interview is hilarious.

What are everyone's favorite Sideshow Bob episodes? Cape Feare is a classic but I also love "reformed" Bob in Brother From Another Series. "Don't go in there! That room's full of hydroelectricity!" And Day of the Jackanapes has great lines. "Ah, kettle chips. The perfect snack... FOR REVENGE."

I think Mr. Burns is appreciated as a character, but he deserves more credit as quietly being one of the funniest.

I don’t know if Barney is underrated but when Stampy reaches into the tar pit to save Homer and pulls out Barney who was already in there for some unexplained reason is one of my favorite Simpsons gags.

I recently discovered this channel and it never fails to make me laugh. Especially the Lee Carvello Putting Challenge one which is edited to make it look like a highly demanded game.
Did any of you guys ever notice that if you took off the end "er" from his name, moved the "b" to after the "i" and then added an "l" to the "b" that you just moved, you'd spell "Bible"?

Thanks! Ironically I had it changed a day before this thread was made haha.

On a related note, I've always been stoked on how many users on SLAP have Simpsons references for their usernames and/or avatars. Obviously Armin and the OP, but then there was Hercules Rockefeller, Moe Syszlak, and SFB's avatar of Kirk Van Houten playing video poker in his underwear while eating Chintzy Pop. "Someday I'll hear that winning music"  ;D ;D ;D

I also love Johnny Tightlips. What about his counterpart, Frankie The Squealer?
"Okay it's me! I can't help it, I just love squealin'. It makes me feel big!"

Or in TOH XIV, when Homer kills Death and no one can die for a short bit. Fat Tony, Legs and Louie are shooting Frankie:
Fat Tony: "Frankie The Squealer, why won't you die?"
Frankie: "I swear, I'd tell ya if I knew!"

Professor Frink and Comic Book Guy have their moments. I used to try and talk like Frink when I was a kid. Comic Book Guy was memorable in the older episode when Homer and Marge discover the Internet.

I am glad that I am entering SLAP Pal-dom with a post in this thread. I'm watching The Boy Who Knew Too Much with my gf and saw this clip of a classic underrated Simpsons character: McGarnagle

His negotiation with Homer for the dental plan is my favorite Mr Burns scene.

His stint as the softball manager was great too.

I feel the same about Drederick Tatum.

Interviewer #1: Champ, do you feel remorse for your crime?

Drederick Tatum: Oh, yes. Believe me, my god, if I could turn back the clock on my mother's stair-pushing, I would certainly, reconsider it.

Interviewer #2: Drederick, ah, what do you think of Homer Simpson?

Drederick Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.

Interviewer #3: Uh, you know, they do have a mother, Champ?

Drederick Tatum: Yes, but I would imagine that she would die of grief.

YESS I was just coming back to talk about Gabbo, hahah.

Probably my favorite one-off catchphrase of the entire series. Specifically at :55 when Mayor Quimby uses Gabbo's catchphrase as an alibi:

Hahaha, I used to say that waaaaaaay to much to "justify" stupid shit that I did. Also, I completely forgot that was the episode that birthed Worker and Parasite.

Worker and parasite is hilarious. "Endut! Hoch Hech!"

...
"What the hell was that?!?!"

Truth. Gabbo, Worker and Parasite, Roy, Üter, the cast of the short-lived Itchy and Scratchy and Friends Hour.

Hahaha, hell yes Friedbread

Also, diddo:

His negotiation with Homer for the dental plan is my favorite Mr Burns scene.

Today's character shine goes to Danny DeVito's hilarious Unky Herb!

The season 2 debut of Herbert also spawned my favorite vehicle to play in Simpsons Hit & Run on weekends after a run to Blockbuster video 8)

This is what I think of Hit & Run as a game:

Probably played through the story mode a dozen times and 100%'d the game at least twice.

"Hey..this isn't the YMCA?"

Since we're going into the nitty gritty I'm going to say Miguel Sanchez is my favorite 1 episode character. I sure hope he got his bird cage, 1 popsicle and $8 for the whole night of babysitting he did.
