Skate companies on the stock market?
« on: December 28, 2020, 07:08:48 AM »
Are there any publicly traded skate companies besides quicksilver and vfcorp?
I started seeing those deluxe stock report vids with frank and was wondering.

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

You’d be much better off buying two shares of LVMH (about $600/share) than you would buying the skate shoes.

I don’t want to get in trouble for insider trading but a little birdie told me that the Fabo/Marvoless empire maybe going public in the near future. This is a guaranteed get rich fast plan.

Supreme was bought from the carlyle group by VF corporation which is publicly traded. I think they own Vans too?

edit: yes they own vans too. https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/11/09/vf-corporation-acquiring-supreme-streetwear-brand/

also, if a skate company is publicly traded... chances are they've moved on to profits before people like most publicly traded companies

I think the real question is “which skate company is likely to be the first to IPO?” I’d say Primitive, Powell, or Santa Cruz.

Well what board company would need investors in order to expand their operations?   I don’t know much about stocks, but one skateboard company alone seems wayyy too small potatoes for this

WWE is publicly traded, so it's more likely that Dyrdek files for an IPO with Street League than any board brands going public.

A distro would make more sense. Skate One or NHS.

Primitive would be the closest individual company honestly.

I bought 1,000 shares of Girl in 1993 and made a killing when the company split to form Chocolate. It all tanked after Pretty Sweet but I’m still holding most of my stock. I’m bullish on Niels Bennet.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.
