Been picking up FF4 again, such a dope game. The psp version is fucking wicked too. Big ups to the $20 psp I found on fb marketplace.

Also been playing through some older Castlevania's. I know they aren't JRPG's but I would recommend picking up Curse of Darkness, it's an underlooked Castlevania for sure.

Has Seiken Densetsu 3 / Trials of Mana been mentioned?

I played the hell out of the SNES version on an emulator with an English patch, booted up the Trial of Mana remaster on PC but the anime voices were too much for me.

Saga Frontier if you got a PS1 emulator going - so many characters with branching paths, non-traditional leveling up system where enemies scale with your level so grinding isn't an issue.
