1:34.  This blew my mind as a kid.  I'm kind of bummed now because I never noticed he used a kicker to get on the rail.

When I was getting started skating in 1987, HIC (Hawaiian Island Creations) a surf shop at the mall with a legit skate department that sponsored contests in Hawaii had still photos of Bo Ikeda going up pvc slider rails that were hard to fathom until I saw Savannah Slamma. Gonz @19:51 was the first I ever saw and it took a while to make sense in my mind.

I take everything I said back. The board hit me in the nuts for the first time ever today, because i was wearing these shits.

no, in all seriousness i was a bit shocked for it to be the 5th reply. oddity as well as souvenir are both criminally underrated videos imo. i'll watch them both regularly and i don't even like rail skating that much. they're just such a cute bunch of friends, or at least the videos do a really great job of portraying that image. sorry for going off on a tangent here but i really love the f

Emerica really hyped that up during that time, that Leo and Westgate were about the only ones doing it

Cole is the man. Why this dude is constantly forgotten boggles my mind. I remember a Nine Club where they were talking about head-on nose grinds on rails and couldn't think of a dude who can do that.

Cole can do that. Cole can do that as a warm up.
