This is so good, my favorite thing in skating right now. Nik Stain's opening line is perfect, love the filming from the front.

The bank to ledge where Hjalte does fs crooks to fakie, we used to skate that in the late 80's/early 90's when I lived in Moscow. Granted the bank only, not the ledge part. Funny, just by living there a long time ago, I can still tell where quite a few of these spots are, just by the surroundings.

That said, where is that plaza/square Nik Stain does the opening line? That seems to be quite the hot spot, you see a lot of footage from there.

Alright, I love Nik Stain's skating, but I gotta say it...sometimes when he lands a trick, he opens and closes his mouth, and he looks like a fish that was just caught and pulled out of the water. This is especially the case after the very first ollie manual when he opens and closes it like three times while he's turning. It's hard for me to unsee.

This spot is a monument of Maxim Gorky, a Russian writer. Locals call this plaza "Belarik" because it is located next to the Belorusskaya metro station
