Unfortunately it seems like Jeff has recently passed away. Condolences to family and friends.

Always loved his stuff in Shackle Me Not, especially his full speed gonz gap attack. RIP.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It’s the courage to continue that counts.

Same here, I loved his part with Ray Simmonds. Shackle Me Not was a huge video for me. Apparently Jeff was a good snowboarder as well.

2020 takes another. We thought last year was bad...Jeff was the nicest guy and could skate anything.
My condolences to his family.
H Street should get some Pettit decks reissued with the profits go to his fam.

I can't remember how I got it but I came up on a new copy of Shackle Me Not when it came out and me and the homies must've watched it at least twice a day, every day that summer. RIP Jeff

This topic should be pinned. I almost missed this news because it was pages back. He was one of those guys I looked to for inspiration when Shackle Me Not came out. RIP.

Goddamn I just saw this too. Always thought his one pad around the ankle was super cool for some reason.

I always assumed it was a makeshift shin guard. I definitely deployed this strategy several times in that era. It felt cool.
