Does DIY skate spots fit this board?
« on: August 28, 2020, 08:23:55 PM »
There's a jersey barrier I'd like to add a little transition to in order to bridge the gap from flat to the first slope. Not sure how to do it.

Are there any DIY skate spot builders here with any ideas?
Sakrete? Grout? Methods?

I'm pretty handy with woodworking. I could whip up a little pressure treated wood wedge pretty easily.

You're going to want to cop a lowcard hat before you even start any of this.

there's hundreds of ways to do it.

1 bag of concrete first (just a big lump on transitioning) wait 20 minutes than biggerer bag of mortar. smooth it out. it will chip out and you will need to repair it a couple times a year.

Most importantly you don't need to add transition to a barrier to skate them

I wish I knew what that means.

HA! I definitely need the transition, at least for now. (I have dreams.)
