I actually feel kinda bad for this guy.
He has horrendous luck with sponsors and has been giving off that Zumiez guy vibe after cutting his hair.

I’d be okay with him on Darkstar through the Bachinsky connect. He’s one of those guys that would put out footage.

Mate, it's super illegal to have the Avatar you have while also showing any sort of respect for Manny Santiago's skating, putting out footage, or his history of sponsors. I know you can do better and i think this was a mistake you've made...That's also just like my opinion man.

Manny Santiago does better tricks than your favorite skater, prove me wrong.

2nd vote would be for PJ. sometimes it is a fine command of the english language to say nothing and he extended that to skating. PJ's plan B part is the emperor's new clothes.

Eh, I grew up as a PRod fan and this guy is/was his sparring partner for BATB.

But damn, this dude is constantly picking the wrong sponsors. Just wow. It’s kinda painful to watch.
I’m not praising his footage or Darkstar but, who puts out a part a year. No one asked for it but, it’s there.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

I feel bad for the guy, because he really has a very good work ethic and crazy tricks, but his style was always so stiff and his personality so vanilla.

It was weird because when Manny Santiago first came out on the scene for Think Skateboards he didn't look that bad, eastcoast skating tech rails etc., but then it has been one big downhill from that both style and sponsor wise.

seems like all the riders for Fortune called it quits based on their IG posts. the only one who hasn't said anything is Brett Conti, the owner? the drama will surely unfold and maybe someone will notice and comment on it. must be hard having a skate company that falls into a weird space in between YouTube and SLS.

I could definitely see him on a YouTube brand. Bachinsky, mentioned earlier would make an excellent YouTube skate brand ambassador as well.

Where do I pitch my Youtube branded head-to-toe brand concept?

Never been a fan of Manny but he was always miles ahead of this YouTuber zumiez brand. Never seen anyone rep or so much as mention Fortune. He'll do fine on whatever middle of the road, boring, contest-loving brand he moves to.

So... Plan B it is!

I don't think Primitive is the middle of the road brand.

When your homie starts a brand called Primitive and doesn't ask you to be on the team so then you join Fortune Skateboards with a youtuber speaks for itself. I don't see him getting on anything relevant.

I dunno about bad luck as much as making terrible sponsorship decisions. Ecko, Ammo, Felix??  I like(d) Felix, but he was never a major player (somebody feel free to correct my ignorance. ) so I never understood why Manny's career seemed placed into his hands.

There is also the issue with his little-kid boards. Something about grownups skating 7.5's (hello Felipe Gustavo) with shit wheels.
fuck poutine we eat pussy out here.

Not for nothing but Christie DeJesu's sexual harassment allegations were specifically against the dudes who run Fortune. I wasn't surprised to hear Rachelle's on something else and am not shocked to see Manny go either. Maybe it's all unrelated but they did sound like basic dicks.

Yea Brett is from Long Island he actually rips. I used to think he would go somewhere in skating then he decided to become this kook YouTube dude after college. The dude Chad that did 50 tricks 50 states is his cousin.

After reading this thread I found the thread she posted on here and it didn't make any fucking sense to me. It seemed like a totally incoherent rant. What's the story here?

As many, I thought it was his brand so I'm a little shocked confusion wise.
All jokes aside he could be on Darkstar ir Blind as a pal said.
