Usually wear them as casual shoes for a month or so before even thinking about skateboarding in them. However, I wore my last pair into the ground before breaking in a new pair and now I'm dealing with not being able to feel my board. My feet feel good but I think I prefer a bit of foot pain to not being able feel the curves of my skateboard properly.

Curious to hear everyone’s methods. I wear mine for anything but skating a week or two then it’s time to skate them till they are dust. I’ve heard of other methods like microwaving shoes and stuff, is that even a thing?

Same, tho now I wear them inside as 'house shoes' for about a week (covid), then wear them 'out' and about for another week whenever I go anywhere/workout in the driveway on lifting days before skating them. I've done this forever. Microwaving shoes is as stupid as boiling bushings.
