I bought a go pro for my wife’s baby shower thinking it would be useful getting video of our child growing up. We’ve never used it and our kid is already 4. So I support you as a proven constituent

Atleast 50% of Go Pro's sales have to be from people in similar situations as you. I know a few people who bought them thinking that they will make "epic" videos of themselves hiking, boating, etc. but they haven't used them either. Years ago I bought the Hero 4 black or whatever the best model was at the time and only used it a handful of times. I thought I'd use it alot more too. Luckily, I was able to sell it for a few bucks less than I paid.

Go Pro does an amazing job marketing their products making consumers think they will be able to recreate something as cool as their ads.

Nah they both get shit on pretty equally here. Tightbooth and Colin Read have close fisheye filming in spades. Roman Baatard too.
