That's a pretty bad thing to call someone who pushes their skateboard the wrong way, and yes we should probably stop saying it. I have used this one freely, and never really gave it much thought previously - the offensive connotation isn't as blatant as it is for 'tranny.' But it's there, and it really isn't that hard for me to just say something else instead. I don't really know what to say instead, but I do think it's time to figure something out.

the switch of terms to the 'Weddle grab' was a well received change..........mongo just feels a bit at odds with the times is all.

I was always a bit fond of referring to it as pushing dick footed. We could just refer to it as pushing long board, because it seems like all those dorks in college who had long boards pushed with the wrong fucking foot like that.

As for pushing that way switch, I'm guilty. I'm old and my switch game is non existent, but I'm working on fixing it, even if it does make me feel like I shouldn't be on a skateboard when I'm trying to push with my back foot switch. Shit's rough.

Where I´m from Mong󬩣o (which I asume translate from mongoloid) is used like an insult outside of skate in every level, I noted mongo would came for that and I always used, but like you guys said in this thread could be wrong for this times.

Also, I don´t why, but when I started to skate I remember hearing from the older guys calling it ´YOYO´(Yoyo pushing I guess), but just like in my first year skating, never heard it again in 20 years, I guess with the time people started to read mags and stuff from US and stopped using and went with mongo.
