He's really good so congrats to him for turning pro. Flip seems to pursue a localized strategy now where they try to appeal to local markets by turning people who are big in one particular country pro, even if they're not that famous elsewhere, rather than having global superstars. Same with when they turned Denny Pham pro, he's big in Germany but largely unknown elsewhere. No idea if it's working or not though

Can someone confirm if flip is popular in the euro countries? cause I live in Aus and as much as I love flip I never ever see a board in the wild.

Flip is also dead in France. Many younglings barely know Flip's "household names".
