Sorry the pictures kinda suck, I had a bit to drink.

I felt drunk looking at that swimming pool concave. Sometimes with heavily concaved boards I get some cheater effect, it’s awesome, tricks that didn’t work magically appear. And the concave will make it last longer for sure.
Thanks for the pics!!
Cheers

I was cleaning up some stuff in my basement and found some USA stage 11 Indy 129s. If anyone wants them hit me up, figured it would be better to post in here than make a new thing in classifieds.

Love me lots of concave, 8.0, big shoes, and big difference between the nose and tail. Perfect setup to get clips

What board is that? I like flat boards but that looks almost TOO flat.... I’d still be interested to try out a board that flat though, looks like it could be fun to mess around on.

Looks sick. Especially that Carroll (I missed out on that deck). Question, what made you choose 5.2s over 5.0s? I'm curious, because I've always liked my trucks smaller.

I've changed my mind, @nosneb got me wanting a HiTek.

No, in all seriousness, PM me if you want pics. They're decent. If I end ups getting up a smaller board I would for sure need to make it a home for my 5.2 lows.

Looks even better than the Tae, but maybe it’s the same?

Tae and Carroll are very similar with a slightly different shape but the concave is pretty much the same depending on the stack. I have a few that’s as flat as a plank and a few that is slightly normal looking.
I ride 5.25 over 5.0 because no matter what setup I like my wheels flush to my rail for the grind clearance and stability. I hate even the slight magic carp look

Yup, Control 7.5. This one is a little shorter than my last shape, and made the rails straighter, but still has a 1/16th of an inch taper out to center. So it’s 7.5 at the truck bolts, 7.56 at center.

If you are ever interested in selling them please let me know. Its a wing and a prayer for Orchard to have my 7.6s and I would love to keep my business local. Either way nice set up and ill shoes.

Those are nice. I'm just now venturing into the world of Nike SB. I resisted for a long time. Done Adidas for a while. I recently acquired the Nike SB Team Classic and they fit really nice (mostly that elastic around the tongue holds good on my shitty foot), so I'm open to trying more.

Yeah this whole pic is flex.
I still have on of the older hi teks, really like it, but it is slightly longer than maybe I prefer.
A fair amount of people hated on control boards in the woodshop thread, and I’ve only had 2, but damn, I really liked mine. Flat.
Also interested if some get sold. That shape sounds real real decent.

7.5
129s
54mm
Finally made the jump from 7.75 to 7.5

A couple things:
1. I barely noticed any real difference at all in width when I first set this up and stood on it vs. the 7.75 I was just skating, to the point where I had to actually use measuring tape to measure the board because I honestly thought it was a 7.75 that they labeled 7.5 by mistake, but it was indeed 7.5 upon measuring. Measured the board I was skating before this as well just to see and it came out to 7.75, so both boards were true to size but the difference in feeling is so minute. So yeah, the leap from 7.75 to 7.5 isn’t that crazy at all, I could really barely tell the difference.

2. The board was labeled steep concave but it’s still actually pretty mellow, which I’m hyped on; definitely prefer a flatter deck to a steep one. Haven’t had a proper sesh on it yet but did take it for a cruise and I’m loving the shape so far. If I end up digging 7.5s I might just stick to these for a while.

Looks good. Had a few of those when Baker was new (assuming its 7.56?)
