What's the length on that bad boy? I've been watching photosynthesis lately so 7.56 x 31.25 is my rock n roll fantasy
[close]
Well your fantasy has come true sir. Because that's what it is. 14"wb to boot.

The trifecta! I don't see anymore on there unless I'm blind, and I'm not saying that I'm not

I asked very politely that they never stop making this shape.lol There are plenty of old 90's guys that could get a lot of lost tricks back if they just spent a few weeks on one of these. It's like riding a bike.. a really fun bike
Plus these shapes are hot and sexy.

I rolled my ankle pretty bad a couple months back and after a month of rest, thought I was good to go. I setup a 8.25 and have been skating it the past month but my ankle started acting up again so I impulse bought a 7.75 tactics deck to see if the reduced weight would be good for me.

Anyone know where they get their boards pressed? I vaguely remember hearing BBS but don't remember where I read that at

My Hopps setup is getting pretty waterlogged as my snow is melting the last couple days, so I set this up just in time for it to snow again. Thanks to the legend @iusedtoskatemore for the 5.0 los, this is gonna be a fun one. Wish I had some 48 milli's for it

I finally got around to skating my 7.81" AH yesterday and just can't do it. The board width didn't bother me but even with three washers on the inside on some Ace 22's it's just not fun for coping or slappies. Respect to those who can achieve greatness on all terrain with such a tiny set of trucks. I think even Ace 33's with the wheels pushed out would still have too tiny of a feel.

I saw three guys at the park wearing Accels. Two of which had skinny boards. This will be the year of the 7.5 I can feel it.

Absolutely bud I claim the same thing everytime questions my sub 8 setup. Our proof is how fast the Orchard 7.5s just disappeared. I bought a pile of them last year just in case the nostalgia lasted, I'm glad I did. Flip tricks like a fucking Ginsu knife.  ;D

I think they’ll make as much of a come back as something like rails and old school shapes, which is a strong presence but not the dominating trend. In 2021 everything in skateboarding is cool, I don’t think there will be one dominating trend but rather more diversity in shapes, styles and sizes across the board.

If anything, this is the year of diversity.

That is what was said, yes.

Thanks! Set it up today and took it for a spin. Surprised at how much I like it.

I couldn't bring myself to immediately fuck up the Gangemi deck with road salt.. so I set up this old 7.6 Primitive to get me by til the roads are swept (probably May if I'm lucky)

7.6 with Venture Lo's is a win-win. Because of the lack of Orchard 7.5's, I've been trying to find others in that size. I can't bring myself to buy a Baker 7.56x31.25 though. I like Baker, but not enough to ride their boards, sorry Andrew! (I was team AWS/ Habitat, sorry) I may buy another Prime 7.5x31, which is not exactly what I want though. (If Alien would just make some boards in that size, I would never have to change!). Hopefully there is more diversity in sizes this year. Its pretty frustrating to always see a sick looking board and then be like "ohhh.. 8.25..." over and over again. I get it, put em out on what sells but..... no thanks!

I went crazy trying every size last year but I am sticking with 7.5-7.6 til my legs don't work. Just like you, I would love it if AWS would put out their old 7.6 again..I might try that toy machine 7.6 again too, but it was pretty steep. Either way I really think that there will be a lot more options in the near future.

Decided to go with 7.4 for the spring. Feels great so far. Flips really quick, easy to control and gets me hyped to look down at.

I pretty much learned all my flip tricks on 7.38” - 7.5” Girl and World boards around 94/95 and I’m more or less the same height and weight as I was then, so it’s pretty comfortable for me to skate boards this size.

Does anyone have any leads for 7.75 blanks?

Preferably in Europe (shipping and taxes would kill me otherwise)

Thank you!

Anyone use Thunder 145s? Having a panic case of truck madness.  Do they only come in one height? Good? Bad? Pondering (it may pass) some on my next board. I only used some (145 lows) for a few weeks back in like 2005. Not much to go on. Also considering that Baker 7.56

I recently skated some 2005 era 145 lows (probably from ‘07). The deck was better suited with Venture 5.0 lo wheelbase wise, so I switched back to them, but the Thunders were good. Grind is the smoothest, the bushings are old so I can’t say much good for the turn. Stable for manuals and could pinch. Overall I prefer 5.0 lo but that Thunder grind is smooth.

I don't really know much about the Thunder grind, but I know the pop with Thunder , on flip tricks, is awesome. I actually quite enjoy the grind on the Lo 5.0's, once they're broken in. 2003, I know I was doing some of my best grinds and they were on Venture, not Indy

P.S. 101 Gino reissue later this year in 7.5 !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone ever skated this DGK shape??
My local shop has this exact board for sale, it’s a 7.75 x 31.875 with a 14.5 wb. I brought up a DGK deck with a 14.5 wb earlier in this thread and how I  skipped on it but that one was 31.5 long, a 14.5 wb on a 31.875 though still a bit extreme sounds more manageable. I’m a bit concerned the tail or nose might feel too heavy to pop but I’ve skated a 31.5 long deck before with a 14.25 wb and found the pop to be ok and not too heavy feeling, a 31.75 length deck with a 14.5 wb would pretty much be the longer equivalent of that cuz you’re just adding a quarter inch to each correct? So in theory a 31.75 length deck with a 14.5 wb should have a pop feeling pretty similar to a 31.5 length deck with a 14.25 wb; so if you go by that theory a 31.875 length deck with a 14.5 wb should have an even less heavy feeling of a pop then a 31.5 length deck with a 14.25 wb right? (This is of course not taking fingers of flat on the nose and tail into effect). I dunno, maybe I’m just completely neurotic, but has  anyone ever skated one? If so how’d you like it? If I do get it I was gonna put some Indy 129s on it which I think would help even out the 14.5 wb and make it not feel so heavy to pop.
