First thought was Ricky in EE3 but since that’s been mentioned I would like to throw this out there.

Probably my alltime favorite part.

PJWHL definitely is special, especially if you came to it at a formative age as I did

It's remarkable watching now - PJ seems like a goofy skate-rat kid, far from the hermit he would become. He gestures at the camera man, makes funny little "woo" noises after a few tricks, skates everything not just ledges and gaps.

it's just so damn PURE in a way that many of the other classic ones in this thread aren't quite. I love his part in Really Sorry but it doesn't have quite the same wholesome appeal.

I also put that Pulp song on many mix cds in my day, especially for girls, and it always hits just right

After thinking about it a while the definitive answer has to be PLWHL. It is a perfect combination of showcasing his insane talent and personality at that time and how the two went together. It holds up incredibly well all these years later and it still constantly brought up more here and in conversations with friends than any other part I can think of.

Blew my mind as a young teen and blows my mind today, even after all the crazy shit people have done on skateboards in-between

Puleo watching Puleo is the greatest skate part of all time.

The video was uploaded on 5/29/20. Today is 9/25/20. Whut?

The length of the video is 10:29.

The video he is watching is his part from Static 2.

In the video part set to the Kinks Shangri-La, Ray Davies completes the opening of the song at 29 seconds where The song speeds up and Bobby’s skating kicks in.

There's no other part that has left an impression on me like Heath in Sight Unseen. For full effect you've gotta watch the full outro afterwards too.

All the PJWHL love in this thread is well deserved.  I have to say a close second for me could be Reynolds’ Stay Gold part or Greco’s part in Baker 2G.  Just had a great vibe and attitude...

It really is PJ.
I was gonna say Gonz in Video Days because it has transition skating and PJWHL does not but then I remembered the halfpipe clip. Despite not going over the coping, it’s still gnarly and counts. PJ’s part has it all.

Heath is gnarly and one of my favorites but his parts are also so angsty and self aware (also professional), whereas PJWHL is just pure skating. The viewer gets to witness a child discover their straight up magical abilities. If skateboarding is a toy (it is, and also much more) PJ was just fucking playing like nobody had before, and almost 20 years later it’s still bonkers. We all know Heath was not playing (also part of the reason why he’s so great).

360 flip three stair heelflip back 5-0 front 180 out is such a crispy line.

I’m partial to Darwin’s part in either Round 3 or Skate more. Can’t remember which one. Also all of Jarne’s parts have seemed more like artistic projects than full on skate parts so they stand out to me as well.

Extremely subjective, but it’s these two for me.

1. Cardiel, sight unseen.

2. Brian Lotti, now and later.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Tons of great ones already listed. I'd put this forward. I'd consider it peak Carroll.

Some of these parts could have been so much better with different music, imo.  I know some folks probably feel the same way about the Morrissey tune in my pick, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Moz.

PJ’s WHL part is sick based on his skating alone, but the Pulp song definitely elevated it.

This is my personal favorite for sure. However, if I consider the impact it had on pretty much every skateboarder I know, best part of all time has to be PJ Ladd's "Wonderful, Horrible, Life".

Hes good really good but no where near best skate part ever. I mean its only personal preference, he skates pretty well tech and curb stuff has quick feet and a good style. But just not as good as people make it seem. I dont have to respect that man at all by todays standards even if his bis smith grinds look georgeus. I prefer every suciu part over his and its fuck modern crailtap for being kind of lame.

I'd say this or his Mindfield part are it for me. Probably my most watched parts, and they just hit me in a way no other parts do.

I’m having a really hard time thinking of my answer for this.
I have parts that are my favorite of all time but I wouldn’t necessarily consider the first ones that come to mind as the greatest part of all time.
Arto I’m sorry and PJ-WHL are def top contenders.
Guy - Mouse is one that came to my mind and I see a couple others have chosen that one.
Boss Stay Gold is another good pick from this thread.
Sorry I didn’t actually contribute anything. I’m still thinking.
I’m a fat Siamese cat.

No, I feel the same way.  Some of my favorites, I wouldn’t consider to be anywhere near the best.  I love Mike V’s Public Domain part.  It’s not anywhere near the best.  I just really dig the vibes and the flow. Gets me stoked to go skate every time.

I don't about the best of all time but this part is pretty much perfection in my opinion:

I remember I got the VHS watched it, then went to meet up at the spot with the boys are tried to explain what I watched. We all booked it back to my place and watched it. The session we had after the video was one of the funnest I can remember.

Penny in High Five was the same feeling, like what the hell did I just watch.

fuck yeah . Me too
