I remember the Chapman part before it being a pretty big deal. Mindfield definitely took it to a different level though

No lol. Maybe they meant Final Flare? Some of those were great examples but there was a few that I had been seeing on the come up for a while before the mentioned parts.

There was a park edit called "Fully Oaks" if I'm not wrong by either Joey Guevara or Miguel Valle, where an unknown Mark Suciu slughters his local park in a Fully Flared style edit, that was bonkers and he was ripping like top notch pros for a youtube park edit.

Definitely put him on my map.
The '80s were the worst period. You had these horrible pop bands growing their hair and calling themselves metal.
