While I'm generally not a fan of electric music, I recently came across this in some skate montage and absolutely loved it.

Best Markovich era... T-Bags and Color Skateboards. I already knew about Treepeople, but I love this song and this part.

Pretty much the entire soundtrack to Suffer the joy

Also,  RJD2's Ghostwriter in Habitat's Mosaic was and still is a fantastic song to go with that part.

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips in The Hot Chocolate Tour.  Part of my brain always thinks of Daniel Castillo when I listen to that song.

The Flaming Lips "Vein of Stars" in Strange Notes' Covers' Baby during a Ted Degros (not YouTube Ben Degros, but his brother) Santa Cruz edit.
Michael Jackson "Working Day and Night" from Circa It's Time - Tony Tave.
Arcade Fire "No Cars Go" - MikeMo. Fully Flared.
Arcade Fire songs from Four Star Super Champion Funzone.
Those are what I got right now. I'm sure there's more though.

Thanks French Fred for Menikmati
The whole track selection is mostly electronic / tribal-y / jazzy but it's GREAT
Made me dive even more into Amon Tobin who is my favorite artist now (right from the intro...)
Really defining for me

Habitat Mosaic
Not as defining but still a huge influence on me. In a different genre.
So many great tracks

Anything punk or ska in my collection came from skateboarding. No radio play or exposure in Hawaii when I started in 87.

Black Flag, Descendents, Firehose, etc from the Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta, and Savanna Slamma vids. Also the Thrasher Skate Rock tapes that they sold in the mag.

I wish Thrasher would re-release those skate rock collections.
