Current / past Filipino pros? Does Manila or any other cities have a scene? Seems very rarely covered

Sean malto is filipino. I think Mountain Dew did a video of him going out there and all the locals were really hyped to see him

Vaguely remember a few Filipinos being included in a DC Asia Pacific team vid a few years back.

There's a bit of a scene but ultimately likely to be out of reach to most people due to the cost of boards, shoes etc.

Few parks in Manila and Cebu.

Rowan Zorilla is from Filipino origins I think.

Lizzie Armanto and Rowan Zorilla are part Filipino. What about Jaime Reyes? She's from Hawaii but she might be too.

That's sick. Do you know where in Cebu she is from?

I was looking up this park before:

Looks like it would a chill spot to setup for a bit.

I'm half Indonesian and don't really understand how skaters from the Phillipines, Vietnam, and Thailand afford all of their stuff. I make in a week what my family members make in a month. And they have proper jobs and qualifications.

Buying used gear from social media and selling used gear if it gets worn out. That’s how it goes in southeast Asia

My three favorite skaters!

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
