Hearing about vaccines being 90% effective, hopefully we can start going back to normal.

So thankful for No Comply. We also have another shop which shall remain nameless that doesn't do shit for the community that is within skating distance of NC. Saw a "come and take it" guns right sticker on their counter on ig one time. Fuck that shop. They haven't updated their site in ages. No idea how theyre still kicking.

Love (and hate) seeing how the pandemic has changed skateboarding is significant ways. Yes, retail was dying and everyone was moving online already, didn't think it would happen as strongly to skateboarding. The surge in popularity for vintage stuff is interesting too, guess people have less money for travel and spend it on acquiring nostalgia.

No but acting like a victim of gun control when you're in an open carry state with tons of freedom is. The shop is just kinda a joke overall.

Armin is such a good dude.  When I got back into skating at 26 and needed proper skate shoes, he was super helpful and led me to Busenitz Pro's (the second, navy colorway).  They never vibe people out and their customer service is excellent.

When COVID hit I made sure to show them as much love as I could afford.
