But I'm gonna say Mark Gonzales... True it would be, from some sort of evolutionary standpoint, an order of magnitude beyond what he did, but in 1990 he did the biggest, craziest, best looking shit... 

Don't get me wrong some of that crazy technical world park type early curb dancing, million tricks clown carred in shit is still cool as fuck and arguably had to happen for progression to pop off like it has...  Still gonz was going fast, looking good doing it not doing nollie back heels a foot off the ground to fakie five o shit that slid for four inches type shit that was huge from skating from like 91/92--94/ish...

Like I expected to get hated on immensely for this but to me snuff is so much better than falling down skating moved away from progression for progression sake and got stylish again don't get me wrong koston does crazy stuff n falling down...

but to me that's a good example because it's the same company theyre even adjacent videos...

Then look at something like time code and that crazy ugly technical shit is nowhere to be found, it popped off big for a couple years and then disappeared and then by the time people are doing stuff that technical again by fully flared era they're actually looking good doing it...

I have actually disliked Evans skating for some bullshit reason since he was up again suciu and Jon Dickson for am of the year when suciu had the posh/over noseblunt on the cover... And yet I love the shit out of his energy and how goofy fucking poodle haired he is and he's still so cool... I just don't like his skating, he's good as fuck up there with Colin provider and suciu and gonz himself for best ever runner up soty... That said I think they minds are alike and I love that answer but I just never cared for Evans actual skating that much knowing he's a top pro... I don't like led Zeppelin either... But I know they good as fuck and people love them

Everyone's gonna take this the wrong way, but he would probably fall somewhere in the louie barletta camp. He's always had an emphasis on creativity, without being too richie jackson-y, and he can skate anything. Louie barletta meets ben raybourn, with a splash of vincent hutah for lazy style points.
